Since watching my husband’s photographic social life spiralling out of control, I noticed that us crafty-maker types really do know how to keep ourselves to ourselves, particularly on a social level. I had a little sit down (coffee and cake) with Zoe, the brain and force behind Craftaganza, we discussed the proposal of teaming up and getting a lil’ social knowledge sharing night off the ground and here it is, launching next month, October 10th.
The plan is to kick the night off each month with an inspirational speaker, for this first event it will be Claire and Amy of Super + Super Hq telling us about their story. The fabulous duo run an amazing multi-purpose creative space in the centre of Brighton where you can go to make and learn, they are a complete inspiration and I for one can’t wait to hear from them.
We are lucky enough that the Old Market in Hove said yes to hosting the evening, they will be letting us use their bar and projector, it is a lovely space and should make for a great atmosphere. Who knows what the night will bring, it is a great opportunity for makers to mingle with their peers, see some familiar faces and meet some new ones.
Entry to the event is free but space is limited to 80. Kick off is at 7pm with the speakers talking at 7:30pm so if you definitely can attend and want to come then please do book your ticket here.
We can’t wait to meet you!!
